Poop Scoop Terms and Conditions

K9 Pile Patrol (“we,” “us,” or “our”). We are an independently owned and operated pet waste removal company providing service to residential, commercial, and community properties. By scheduling or receiving our services, you agree to the following Terms of Service.

1. Service Overview

We offer recurring and one-time pet waste removal services, including:

  • One-Time Cleaning
  • Weekly Cleaning
  • Twice a Week Cleaning
  • Biweekly Cleaning
  • Seasonal Cleaning

All pricing is based on a yard size up to ⅛ acre and number of dogs. Larger properties/more dogs may incur additional charges.

2. Service Conditions

Service quality may be affected by weather, yard conditions, grass height, access, and other external factors. Customers are responsible for ensuring we can access the service area. Keep in mind, we can only scoop what we can see and we will make a reasonable effort to find all waste depending on the conditions of the yard.

3. yard access

If we cannot access your yard due to locked gates, obstructions, or pets present, service will be skipped and charges will still apply.
To avoid missed visits, please provide gate codes or keys.
If a return visit is requested, a $5 trip fee will be added.

4. weather policy

We operate in most weather conditions but may pause service during:

  • Severe storms or lightning
  • Extreme heat or cold events
  • Flooding or heavy snow accumulation

Because our service is billed monthly, missed visits due to weather are not refundable. All waste will be removed during the next scheduled service.
If conditions are excessively muddy or unsafe, we may postpone service to prevent yard damage.

During a hard winter with heavy snow, we will follow the tracks of your dog/s and attempt to remove all waste from obvious areas. If there is fresh snow and no tracks to follow, your service will be skipped for that week. While there are no refunds for weather events that cause us to miss a visit or waste piles, rest assured, as the snow melts and the older waste becomes visible, it will be taken care of properly throughout our weekly visits ensuring you the cleanest yard all year long!

5. Holidays

We do not operate on the following holidays:
New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.
If your scheduled service falls on one of these dates, we will resume service the following week. No refunds are provided for holiday skips, as we will pick up double the following visit.

6. billing and payments

  • Service is billed monthly in advance on the 1st of each month.
  • A $10 late fee applies to any payment not received by the 5th of the month.
  • If a payment fails, service will pause until payment is updated.
  • If more than 30 days pass between cleanings, a first-time cleaning fee may apply.
  • One-time cleanings are billed after completion; payment is due within 24 hours.
  • Accounts more than 30 days past due may be sent to collections.

Service may be paused for up to 30 days. If not resumed after that period, you will be removed from the schedule.

7. yard conditions

We will always clean to the best of our ability. However, it can be difficult to locate waste in tall grass, heavy leaves, or debris.
If you notice excessive waste left behind, please contact us as soon as possible.

8. additional fees

The following additional fees may apply:

  • Cleaning/sanitizing decks, patios, or sidewalks – $5 per visit
  • Whole yard sanitizing/deodorizing – $10 per visit
  • Cleaning rock or gravel areas – $3 per visit
  • Return visit  – $5 per trip
  • Wait time due to customer delay – $5 per visit

9. privacy policy

We collect personal information such as your name, address, email, phone number, and service details to provide and manage your account.

We do not sell or share your information with third parties except as needed to:

  • Process payments
  • Provide communication or scheduling
  • Comply with legal obligations

Information may be shared with vendors or service providers who help us operate, or with law enforcement when required by law.

10. revisions

These Terms may be updated periodically without prior notice. Updates will be posted on our website, and continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any changes.

11. holiday shutdown

We reserve the right to pause operations between Christmas and New Year’s Day. Regular billing applies unless you clean your yard during this period.
